This past weekend we headed to Old Forge, NY for the 41st Annual Snodeo event. And wow what a start to the season, trails were awesome, the shootout and dealer parties had record attendance, just an amazing weekend.
Friday night we kicked things off with a our 2nd Annual Snodeo Party hosted by one of our favorite pit stops in the Old Forge/Inlet area, Duffy's at the Glenmore. With a fresh blanket of snow Thursday night the trails were pristine as the snowmobiles just keep rolling in. We blew last year's attendance out of the water, gave away some awesome prizes and someone went home #curveequipped. Thanks again to Straightline Performance/RSI Racing, Caliber Traction Products, Sledfreak and Sled Junkies for the donations!
Saturday we attended the Amsnow/Dynotech Shootout where the new 2019 models were put head to head to see who's the quickest. Everyone's question at hand, which 850 will come out on top? With much anticipation the Polaris 850 delivered and ran a 9.661 at 101.12 mph. See the full results below.
After the shootout we visited some of the different dealer parties that were going on. Everywhere we went was packed, it was refreshing to see such a great turnout. Not only is it good for our sport but also the local economy and Old Forge region.
Sunday we were back at the Pavilion where we were set up all weekend showcasing our products with the other vendors. We saw a lot of familiar faces and some new ones as well. Everyone we talked to was revved up for the snowmobile season and we couldn't be more excited, see you out on the trails!
